WooCommerce Product Batch Numbers to control product batches sold throw your WooCommerce shop.
WooCommerce Product Batch Numbers makes that super easy, it’s lightweight and fully integrated with your current WooCommerce experience.
This plugin is a small extension that enables you to manage batch numbers or lot numbers at a product and order level inside WooCommerce. It supports both simple and variable products, allowing you to track those numbers easily in terms of expiration date, supplier and availability.
If your business runs with batch numbers (if you sell food or supplements for example) this is the perfect tool to keep an eye on your stock.
It’s pretty simple to use with existing products and newly created products in WooCommerce. Inside the inventory tab you will see a table to be filled with batch numbers for that specific product. If you have variable products the steps are the same, but in this case we keep the inventory tab for the main product, and you will see inside the variation another table to manage those lot numbers on a variation level.
When batch numbers have been assigned to a product, the plugin will automatically distribute/assign the batches to orders that are placed in your store using FIFO (First In, First Out) principles, so you don’t have to deal with the boring stuff and keep your focus on selling. When required, you can manually adjust the batch assignment on a per order/item basis.
Keep your stock organized and up to date with a solid batch numbers management system.
This plugin is a small extension that enables you to manage batch (lot) numbers at a product and order level inside WooCommerce. It supports both simple and variable products, allowing you to track those numbers easily in terms of expiration date, supplier and availability.
When the expiration date ends the color changes to red to alert you from selling dated products on your store.
Keep track of the orders containing a certain batch number to get an history overview of the sales and clients. If something happens to the product you will know exactly who bought it and when.
When you add a batch number you will need to add also a stock quantity. This is required to keep tracking the stock units for the batch. When the stock limit is reached the system will archive the batch and use the next available one.
If your products have different colors, sizes, or any kind of variation, this extension will allow you to manage batch numbers also for variable products. For both product types the lot management is done inside the inventory section.
