If you want to use PayPal in your WooCommerce, but the store currency is not supported by PayPal, and when you try to activate the PayPal payment method, you get a message that  Method is disabled : PayPal does not support your store currency  , you can use this plugin to accept PayPal payments by converting a store’s currency to one of PayPal’s supported currencies. You can manually enter the exchange rate of PayPal’s currency to your store’s currency, or use an API that will automatically update the exchange rate daily.

Added support for the new official WooCommerce PayPal plugin after version 5.5.0 – “WooCommerce PayPal Payments”.

Installing:

– Method 1:
1. Unzip the “woocommerce-wpucc.zip” plugin.
2. You upload the “woocommerce-wpucc” directory to the “/wp-content/plugins/” directory of your WordPress site.
3. Activate the plugin from the WordPress control panel, section “Extensions”
4. Go to “WooCommerce>Settings>Order” and click on ePay to configure the plugin.

– Method 2:
1. From your WordPress dashboard, go to Extensions>Add More>Upload.
2. Select the “woocommerce-wpucc.zip” archive from your computer and install it.
3. Activate the plugin from the WordPress control panel, section “Extensions”
4. Go to “WooCommerce>Settings>Order” and click on ePay to configure the plugin.

Configuration:

  1. From the PayPal Currency drop-down menu, select your desired PayPal-compatible currency to which your store’s currency will be converted.
  2. If you select “Use Forex API” the “Exchange Rate” field will be automatically populated with the current exchange rate provided by the Forex API. This action will also create a recurring ‘cronjob’ task in WordPress that will update the exchange rate daily from the API.
  3. The Exchange Rate field is used when you are not using the Forex API. When entering the exchange rate, you must use a dot “.” as a decimal separator.

3. Activate the plugin from “Plugins->Installed Plugins”.
4. Go to “WooCommerce->PayPal Compatibility” screen to configure the plugin.

2. Chose from the dropdown list “PayPal Currency” the desired PayPal compatible currency to which your store currency will be converted.
3. If you check “Use Forex API” the “Exchange Rate” field will be automatically populated with the current exchange rate provided by Forex API. This action will also enable a cronjob which is going to update the exchange rate once a day.
4. “Exchange rate” field must be used when you don’t use the Forex API. You must use dot “.” for decimal separator of your exchange rate.
